DODA, May 3: In a coordinated operation here today J&K Pollution Control Committee (JKPCC) and Municipal Council Doda seized over 3.63 quintal of banned polythene during a major crackdown at a residential house in Akarambad, Doda, where the illegal material was unlawfully stored.
The operation, overseen by Deputy Commissioner Doda, Harvinder Singh involved Divisional Officer, Gurpreet Singh from JKPCC Doda, Naib Tehsildar, Vidya Sagar and Executive Officer, Amit Sharma from Municipal Council, Doda.
The raiding team also included cops and it worked in tandem with local authorities to carry out the seizure of concealed polythene.
