Action against crushers running illegally

JAMMU, Nov 17: Police registered two cases against over one dozen persons engaged in running stone crushers illegally and also seized 3 dumpers and 2 JCB machines.
As per police sources, during patrolling a team from Pouni Chak Police Post found owners of New BN Stone Crushers and JK Stone Crushers along with some persons have started illegal work on both the stone crushers, which were also sealed in a case registered under FIR Number 303/2020 under Section 188 IPC with Police Station Domana.
On this, two cases under FIR Numbers 330/2020 and 331/2020 under Sections 420, 120-B, 379, 188, 201 and 166-A IPC were registered against 14 persons and investigation started.
The persons, who were booked in FIR Number 330/2020 are Chain Singh, son of Kashmir Singh of Thather, Naiza Akhtar, wife of Mohammad Farooq of Thather, Neeraj, wife of Amar Singh of Nanak Nagar Jammu and others, while the persons booked in FIR Number 331/2020 are Virender Gupta, son of Banarsi Dass Gupta of Talab Tillo Jammu, Sunny, son of Ram Rattan of Pouni Chak, Shamsher Singh, son of Kartar Chand of Raipur Jagir, Sham Kumar, son of Som Nath of District Udhampur, Jwala Mukhi, son of Kamal of Uttar Pradesh at present Nardani, Romesh Kumar, son of Chaman Lal of Durga Nagar, Sanjay Jamwal, son of Lal Dass of Talab Tillo Jammu, Kewal Kumar, son of Bishan Dass of Pargwal, Tarseem Lal, son of Mangi Ram of Khanpur, Ajay Kumar, son of Krishan Lal of Sarora Tehsil Marh District Jammu and Gopal Dass, son of Faqeer Chand of Muradpur Kothey District Jammu.
Police team also seized 3 dumpers and 2 JCB machines on the spot.
Further investigation into the cases is going on.
The whole operation was carried out by SDPO Domana Kosheen Koul with assistance of SHO Domana Inspector Chanchal Singh and Incharge Police Post Pouni Chak SI Rohit Bhagat under the supervision of SP Rural Sanjay Sharma and SSP Jammu Shridhar Patil.
