Overhauling of BOSE demanded

JAMMU, Oct 13: Jammu Private Schools & ETT Institutes Association (Progressive) has demanded an urgent overhauling of administrative infrastructure of JK Board of School Education (BOSE) by shunting out incompetent, corrupt and over staying top officials.
In a statement, Deep Singh, president of the Association, alleged anarchy in the BOSE where influential college lecturers were working for years together in violation of rules and have developed vested interests. Such influential lot of so-called academicians has all expertise to manage long and illegal stay in BOSE, he added.
Holding the political leadership responsible for such state of affairs, Mr Singh demanded urgent overhauling of the BOSE and appointment of officers of integrity for looking after the academic career of more than eight lakh students.
