We do appreciate the efforts undertaken by traffic police Jammu for preventing overloading especially in private vehicle used to transport school kids.This is a very good step. However, the rule is not implemented in holistic way. As a result these vehicles are demanding 100 percent hike in fare which is not justified. These people are indulging in blackmailing tactis. So we request you to work out a mechanism for the same.The suggestion for the same are as under:
Either, the RTO must fix the fares and notify it for expression of interest from the interesting person/unions or It must work out mechanism with the school adminstration wherein the school must arrange the transport or invite the expression of interest from the unions/individuals for the same.
The half way approach would be futile and will not be beneficial to public or Goverenment either.
