LOS ANGELES, Aug 20: Rapper P Diddy and his longtime girlfriend, Cassie have reportedly broken up.
Diddy and Cassie, who had been dating on and off for years, split earlier this week after their argument which ended with police getting called to her home, reported TMZ.
Sources close to the pair said that Diddy and Cassie had a heated argument in a car on Wednesday, August 17 after she told him she wanted to break up.
The 46-year-old rap mogul apparently had a suspicion that his girlfriend’s cheating on him, so he grabbed her phone and started scrolling through.
At one point, he jumped out of the car with the phone still in his hand while she left in the chauffeured car. He eventually came to Cassie’s home to return her phone, but was then greeted by some cops whom her mom called after her daughter told her about the phone incident.
Cassie, 29, later explained to the cops that she had got back her phone, so they left her home after writing up a domestic incident report.
Diddy and Cassie haven’t responded to the breakup report. The two have been dating on and off since 2007, and their previous split happened last December when she posted an Instagram message accusing him of cheating. (PTI)
