JAMMU, Feb 23: P Mark Mustard Oil has expressed a serious concern over uploading of misleading video on social media by some parties and said that these parties are adversely depicting the quality of their Mustard Oil.
In a press statement issued here today, Puri Oil Mills Limited, the manufacturers of P Mark Mustard Oil said that they would like to categorically state that these social media clips have no relevance to any quality issues.
We want to assure our valued customer that P Mark Mustard Oil is stringently tested in an NABL accredited laboratory. The oil fully conforms to all food safety requirements in accordance with FSSAI norms and standards as well as Agmark Grade 1 quality parameters.
The difference in colour, which is being touted as a quality issue, is due to the natural characteristics of the seeds that are procured from different mustard growing regions across India. The company sources quality oilseeds from India’s best mustard growing areas.
India has a wide variety of mustard oilseeds. In its oil extraction process, the company does not tamper with the natural characteristics of the seeds – and uses no chemicals or additives.
We take this opportunity to assure our valued customers, trade partners and other stakeholders that P Mark Mustard Oil is synonymous with quality and purity, and has been so for more than ninety years.
