JAMMU, May 12: P N Koul Sayil a well known writer and author of over a dozen books in Kashmiri language breathed his last this morning after a brief illness. He was 80.
Sayil also edited many journals in Kashmiri and he had a command over the language. A soft spokesman, he was also associated with various literary organizations in Kashmir as well as Jammu and has closely worked with progressive movement in Kashmir in early sixties.
Various literary organizations and scholars have expressed their profound grief and shock over his demise and termed it a big loss to Kashmiri language.
