JAMMU, June 2:The PM package employees posted in Kashmir Valley and Jammu Kashmir National United Front (JKNUF) today reiterated the demand that PM package employees be relocated outside Valley.
In a joint statement Amit Raina coordinator PM package employees and Rakesh Handoo JKNUF spokesperson said that no other solution is acceptable to package employees and displaced Pandits. They said it was an economic package but later hijacked and given the name of return & rehabilitation without any proper plan and evaluation of future. The employment was just made on an unplanned SRO 412 without any detailed clarification about future.
They said the accommodations are yet not ready and discriminatory at everywhere. The social life of the employees has finished and the future of children of the employees seemed in extreme darkness.
“Still we were compromising with the all the situations, humiliations, and discriminations but these selective targeted killings has broken us and we’ve no option left except moving out of the Valley. And hence our only demand right now is Right to Life i.e., Relocation or send us back to our families” they added.
