Despite rains the agitating employees gathered at the protesting site and raised slogans in favour of their demand of relocation. The torrential rains and the water logging could not dampen the spirit of the protesting package employees. The leaders of the package employees resolved to continue the protest till the fulfillment of their relocation demand.
However, the leaders of the package employees stated that they have full faith in the BJP Government and the LG Administration and they hope that their legitimate demand of their shifting/relocation will be accepted by the Government. Meanwhile, Rubin Saproo, one of the protesting package employees emphasized that the Government should attach all package employees in the Relief Commissioner’s Office Jammu and subsequently the package employees will go for second round of talks with the LG Administration for their relocation.
The package employees appealed the Centre Government and LG Administration to preserve their right to life and so consider their plea. The protesting employees also reiterated that the ground situation in Kashmir valley is not conducive for the living and working of the Pandit package employees and thus they demand their relocation/shifting to Jammu province till the situation limps back to normal in Kashmir.
