JAMMU, Feb 13: Prime Minister package employees posted serving in Valley who are on protest for last 284 days held a demonstration in front of Raj Bhawan here, today reiterating their demands.
The protesting employees said they want Maha Shivratri gift from Lt.Governor’s administration in form of saving their lives and release of pending salaries without any condition till their demands are addressed on table through talks.
The protestors said they are recruited under employment package and such packages shall be flawless and implemented in such a way that it should set an example to whole world.

The employees submitted memorandum at Raj Bhawan in which alternate demands are charted out to save their lives on priority and believed all such measures are possible for administration to work upon.
The protestors said they are without salaries for last 284 days where their families are facing gruesome hardships financially, citing their exploitation and haplessness they are willing to join the duties subject to condition that a road map to reside in Valley with security and safety must be shared with employees through table talks.
Pertinent, to mention that employees are in huge fear-psychosis and have lost confidence to resume duties due to consecutive target killings and threat letters issued to them by terrorist groups.
Some employees said that their rented houses were vacated by their landlords citing security reasons and it’s difficult for them to found shelter in Valley while they were appointed under rehabilitation plans.
The hapless employees requested Prime Minister, Narendra Modi and Lt. Governor, JKUT, Manoj Sinha to release salaries immediately on eve of Maha-Shivratri and restore the channels of talks of employees with UT administration.
