Srinagar, Nov 17: The People’s Alliance for Gupkar Declaration (PAGD) today announced its third list of candidates from its constituent parties set to contest the upcoming DDC elections across J&K.
According to the third list, PDP will field its candidates in 8 constituencies which include Sangrama (Baramulla), Kund (Pulwama), Aripal (Pulwama), Sukhnag (Budgam), Bonkote (Bandipora), Shopian-II (Shopian), Ganderbal-A, Ganderbal B (Ganderbal).
NC will field its candidates in 6 constituencies which include Wagoora (Baramulla), Khuveripora, Hiller (Anantnag), Hyhama (Kupwara), Shopian-I (Shopian), and Ganderbal-C (Ganderbal).
JKPC and ANC will field their candidates in one constituency each in Qaziabad (Kupwara) and Pulwama-II (Pulwama) respectively.
Earlier, as per the second list, JKNC was to field its candidates from 8 constituencies which include Manzgam (Kulgam), Shadimarg (Pulwama), Khag (Budgam), Beerwah (Budgam) Srinagar – III, Ramnagri (Shopian), Kangan B (Ganderbal), and Kangan C (Ganderbal).
Similarly, JKPDP was also to field its candidates from 8 constituencies which include Kunzer (Baramulla), Pombay (Kulgam), DK Marg Tangdar (Kupwara), Nowgam (Bandipora), Khanmoh – III, Kanjiullar (Shopian) and Kangan A (Ganderbal).
Congress was set to field its candidates from 3 constituencies which include Zaingeer (Baramulla), Shangus (Anantnag), and Tral (Pulwama).
The JKPC was to field candidates from 5 constituencies, including Ramhal (Kupwara), Reddi Chowkibal (Kupwara), Ganastan (Bandipora), Qamarwari – I Qamarwari -II.
The ANC was to field its 1 candidate from Khanmoh – II in Srinagar, while as JKPM was to field its candidates from Srinagar -I and Srinagar – II.
As a part of the maiden list that was announced, 21 candidates belonged to National Conference while as four were from People’s Democratic Party with two candidates belonging to People’s Conference (PC).
As per that list, the NC was to file candidates from Rohama, Tangmarg, DH Pora, Sangam, Pahalgam, Tangdar, Khan Sahib, Gurez, Tulail, Sumbal, Harwan 1, Harwan 2, Harwan 3, Harwan 4, Harwan 5, Harwan 6, Khanmoh-1, Dhara, Kellar-1, Gund-1 and Gund-2, while PDP from Kunzar, Larnoo, Kalaroos and Kellar-2, and PC from Rafiabad and Kralpora.
