Pak action shows open support to terrorists: PCC

JAMMU, Feb 27: Pradesh Congress has strongly condemned Pakistan for resorting to intense shelling from across the border all along LoC and border besides air intrusion in Nowshera, Rajouri and Poonch sector with aim to target civil population and Army installations.
The party also lauded the Indian forces for gunning down a Pakistan fighter jet today.
Reacting to the current situation on the borders, PCC chief spokesperson Ravinder Sharma (Ex-MLC), has blamed Pakistan for escalating tension between two countries by attacking on our civilian areas and Army installations by intense shelling and air strike, which have been repulsed strongly and forcefully by the Indian forces.
The Pak fighter jets had to make a hasty retreat without causing any loss, while a Pakistan fighter has been shot down by the Indian forces for which our forces deserve all commendation for their bravery.
Sharma also appreciated the brave border people who are solidly behind their armed forces and are staying put in their areas and there is no element of panic, however, the administration should closely visualize and regularly monitor the situation on the border and LoC and take all precautionary appropriate measures for the safety and security of the civil population.
The entire nation is united and together in the fight against Pak sponsored terrorism and Pakistan’s attempts to indulge in mischief’s and misadventures against India. The entire rank and file of the party is with the armed forces and population on the borders and all along LoC.
He expressed concern over Pak retaliatory actions, whereas India only carried out a non-military pre-emptive air strike over terrorist camps in POJK. This shows the open support of Pakistan to terrorist, the chief spokesman added.
The PCC also expressed shock over the casualty of two pilots and a civilian in air crash in Budgam area of Kashmir.
