Jammu: After a brief lull, Pakistan on Wednesday yet again violated the ceasefire agreement by firing heavily on forward Indian posts on the Line of Control in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir.
“Pakistani Army started unprovoked firing on Wednesday evening along the Line of Control in Nowshera sector of Rajouri,” an official here said.
“Ceasefire violation in Babakhori area of Nowshera in Rajouri. No loss reported yet,” Dr Shahid Choudhary, Deputy Commissioner Rajouri tweeted on micro-blog site.
Meanwhile, an Army jawan injured in Pakistan firing last week, on Wednesday succumbed during a treatment at Army Hospital Rajouri. (Agencies)
