JAMMU, Sept 3: After a brief lull, Pakistan again resorted to firing on Indian positions in Krishna Ghati sector of Mendhar tehsil in Poonch district last night.
Official sources said Pakistan Army started firing at 10 pm and continued it for more than half an hour. The Indian side didn’t retaliate.
Firing and ceasefire violation by Pakistan Army came after a gap of nearly a fortnight of lull.
No reasons could be ascertained behind Pakistan firing, sources said, adding the firing at the night was mostly aimed at infiltrating the militants into this side.
However, no movement was infiltrators was observed from this side, sources said.
