Pak hands over missing Poonch villager to India

POONCH, Nov 1: Pakistan Army today handed over a villager from Poonch area to the Indian counterparts in presence of civil officials at Chakan-Da-Bagh crossing point.
The villager has been identified as Saif Din, son of Ghulam Mohammad Loon, resident of Gagrian (Dhana) in Sawjian area of Mandi tehsil. He was handed over by Pak Rangers to Indian troops in presence of Magistrate (Naib Tehsildar) deputed for the task this afternoon.
Official sources said that this man was missing for the last about 21 weeks, but it was not known when he had crossed over to Pakistan Administered Kashmir via Line of Control and his subsequent apprehension by Pakistan army. The man is said to be mentally unstable. Family believes that he might have crossed over to that side in middle of June last year.
