JAMMU, Jan 11: Army today arrested a Pakistani intruder at Ranjeet Gate in Pallanwalla sector of Akhnoor tehsil.
“The intruder was in incoherent State and unable to disclose his identity and purpose of intrusion’’, official sources said, adding nothing significant was recovered from his possession.
The Pakistani national was arrested soon after he crossed over into Indian territory. He was challenged to stop but he continued to move toward this side. As he was unarmed, Army didn’t open firing and took him into custody, sources said.
The intruder was being quizzed to ascertain his identity and address besides the purpose of crossing the Line of Control (LoC).
