SRINAGAR: Former Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has criticised the handling of Jawharlal Nehru University (JNU) event and said it was “sad”.
Taking to micro blogging site Twitter the working president of the National Conference (NC) said, “Sad that recent events & their handling have created a situation where #JNU now features alongside Pak & ISIS flags.”
He was referring to protest demonstration and waving of Pakistan and ISIS flags and posters thanking JNU for supporting the Kashmir issue in Nowhatta area in the Shehar-e-Khas this afternoon. (AGENCIES)
