JAMMU, Apr 11: A Pakistani national was arrested while he infiltrated into the Indian territory via Indo-Pak International Border in Pargwal area of Akhnoor last night.
“Army troops late last night arrested a Pakistani national while he crossed over to this side from forward Hamirpur village,” official sources said.
They said his identity was ascertained as Mohd Tanveer, 24, son of Wazir Masih, resident of Qamrawala, Sialkote, Pakistan.
“No document or any incriminating material was recovered from his possession and this morning he was handed over to Police Station Pargwal,” they added.
