Pak releases 163 Indian fishermen

NEW DELHI/ISLAMABAD:
Pakistan today released 163 Indian fishermen who were sent to India through the Wagah border.       ”This a follow-up to the meeting of the Prime Ministers of Pakistan and India at Ufa, Russia on 10 July 2015,” the Pakistan High Commission said here in statement.
”Pakistan has always held that the issue of prisoners in our respective countries is a humanitarian one and should be taken in that spirit. It is our hope that both countries will release all prisoners who have completed their sentences,” the statement said.
There was an 11-year-old boy among the fishermen freed from Landhi and Malir jails in Karachi. (AGENCIES)
