Pak repatriates drowned man’s body

JAMMU, May 31: Pakistan repatriated the body of a man, who got drowned in river Chenab few days back.
As per police sources, Pak rangers intimated BSF in Pargwal area that they found a dead body in Chenab River probably was sunk and floated from Indian side to Pak side.
After receiving photograph and enquiring individual was identified as Davender Singh Manhas, son of Raghuveer Singh Manhas of village Bhopur.
He drowned in River Chenab on 27 May 2018 evening while taking bath in the river.
The body found in the River Chenab was handed over during the casual contact in presence of police representative and relatives of deceased.
Khour police has taken cognizance in this regards.
