JAMMU, Nov 12: Pakistan tonight again violated ceasefire along Line of Control (LoC) in Balakote sector of Poonch district.
At about 7 pm, Pakistan army started firing targeting forward posts and civilian areas in Balakote. However, after 8 pm, Pakistani troops also fired some mortars on the Indian side, which retaliated.
There were no casualties on the Indian side in the shelling or firing.
For the past six days, there had been peace all along the LoC, which was shattered late this evening, sources said.
