JAMMU: Pakistan yet again violated the truce by firing heavily in border villages of Arnia, R S Pura sectors of this winter capital in which around ten houses suffered damages while eight people including a BSF officer got wounded.
“Pakistan resorted to heavy firing in Arnia and R S Pura Sectors late tonight with small arms and mortars,” an official here said. He said around 10 houses suffered partial damages in the cross border firing in Arnia sector.
Earlier in the morning, at least eight people, including an officer of BSF, got injured as Pakistan violated the ceasefire. “A BSF officer namely ASI A K Upadhyay got injured this morning as Pakistan resorted to heavy unprovoked firing along international border in R S Pura sector of Jammu,” said an official.
