JAMMU, May 12: Expressing his serious concern over the mounting belligerency by the theocratic State of Pakistan the former Union Minister, Prof. Chaman Lal Gupta observed that it was height of inhuman approach that instead of joining hands with the world communities in combating the menace of COVID -19 virus and taking care of her own people the reports indicated that the handlers of cross border terror in J&K have stooped so low that in the UT of J&K they are trying to push the Corona infected ultras to this side of the border and Line of Control.
Prof. Gupta particularly referred to the report of the DGP and said that nothing can be so inhuman and deplorable than this heinous act of indulging in spreading the virus to settle scores in J&K and harm its people in frustration after having failed to achieve anything in their proxy war for the past over three decades.
In a statement Prof. Gupta also recalled that over the years of this proxy war, the mentors of terror have been employing many other such like inhuman acts including the massacres of innocent civilians and over five lacs of natives of Kashmir Valley have been turned destitute to become refugees within their own country. He also referred to the use of narco terrorism by smuggling heroin and other such like crimes against the humanity.
He urged the authorities of the J&K UT to see that in how many cases the arrested offenders including foreigners taken into custody with large quantities of heroin and other deadly narcotics got punished as per the law along with their handlers and local links.
He also stressed to have a look into the final disposal of the seized narcotics which ran into quintals and international market value of hundreds of crores of rupees.
The statement also refer to the recent arrest of a Jaish-e-Mohammad over ground worker from the village of Chakroi in R.S Pura bordering Sialkot Cantonment of Pakistan and have a deep look that how the man has been staying there for months together and using the Pakistani mobiles and Sim cards and was in possession of reported lacs of Indian currency notes.
Prof. Gupta also referred to large scale encroachments on the State Government land including that of agriculture farms of the Government and building of massive structures in the sensitive areas of Kanachak and Lalyal of Jammu district and wanted to know who were the politicians behind encouraging such illegal acts in sensitive areas.
