Maryam Nawaz, PML(N) Vice President and the daughter of Pakistan’s former PM Nawaz Sharif was arrested by the National Accountability Bureau on Thursday in a corruption case. Maryam was arrested after she failed to appear in the Chaudhry Sugar Mills case. She was arrested while she was visiting her father Nawaz Sharif at the Kot Lakhpat Jail in Lahore.
