Pallavi Joshi honoured with prestigious international award

JAMMU, Mar 26: In a proud moment for Jammu and Kashmir, Pallavi Vimal Joshi, a distinguished daughter of the soil was today conferred with Special Award for Promising Professional (Pioneer in Aviation Asset Management) at the IIW SHE INSPIRES Awards 2025.
The prestigious award, instituted by Inspiring Indian Women (IIW) was presented at a glittering ceremony held at the Houses of Parliament, London, under the esteemed presence of MP Padma Shri Bob Blackman.
Pallavi is the daughter of Late Jawahar Lal Baru and Late Swarn Kanta Baru.
Their values of integrity, perseverance and dedication have been deeply ingrained in her, shaping her extraordinary journey in the aviation sector.
Currently Pallavi is serving as the CEO of Air Fleet Managers, a pioneering multinational aviation consultancy.
Over the past 28 years, she has led a team of over 45 aviation professionals, spearheading excellence in aircraft lease transition, aircraft delivery and re-delivery, aircraft physical inspections, records review and the digitization of aviation records.
On receiving the award, Joshi expressed her gratitude, saying, “This recognition is not just mine, but belongs to every woman who dares to dream and strives to make a difference. The aviation industry demands precision, dedication and innovation and I am honored to contribute to its transformation. The IIW SHE INSPIRES Awards were instituted by Inspiring Indian Women (IIW) to recognize and celebrate the accomplishments of women across diverse domains.
