NEW DELHI, June 3: In restricted activity, palmolein oil prices rose by Rs 50 per quintal at the wholesale oils and oilseeds market today due to pick up in demand from retailers.
Castor oil in the non-edible section also moved up on increased offtake by the consuming industries.
Marketmen attributed the rise in palmolein oil prices to pick up in demand from retailers.
In the national capital, palmolein (RBD) Palmolein (Kandla) oils went up by Rs 50 each to Rs 5,750 and Rs 5,650 per quintal respectively.
Among non-edible, castor oil traded higher by Rs 50 to Rs 9,950-10,050 per quintal.

Oilseeds: Mustardseed Rs 2,950-3,050 and Groundnutseed Rs 2,150-2,900. Vanaspati Ghee (15-litre tin) Rs 930-1,070.
Edible oils: Groundnut Mill Delivery (Gujarat) Rs 8,700, Groundnut Solvent Refined (per tin) Rs 1,600-1,650, Mustard expeller (Dadri) Rs 7,100, Mustard Pakki Ghani (per tin) Rs 1,250-1,300, Mustard Kachi Ghani (per tin) Rs 1,300-1,400, sesame mill delivery Rs 8,100, Soyabean Refined Mill Delivery (Indore) Rs 6,700, Soyabean Degum (Kandla) Rs 6,400, Crude Palm Oil (Ex-Kandla) Rs 4,300, Cottonseed Mill Delivery (Haryana) Rs 5,600, Palmolein (RBD) Rs 5,750, Palmolein (Kandla) Rs 5,650 and Coconut (per tin) Rs 2,375-2,425.
