JAMMU, Feb 12: Paloura Welfare Committee held a meeting here today under the chairmanship of Balbir Singh ex-Sarpanch.
As per a release, the meeting discussed various problems of the area. Later the meeting authorized the president of the Committee, Vijay Sharma to take up the problems with newly elected MP (Rajya Sabha) Shamsher Singh Manhas. The meeting expressed the hope that Mr Manhas will highlight the problems of the people of Jammu province in Parliament.
The meeting also appealed the district administration to ensure proper arrangements for Mahashivratri festival.
It nominated Angrez Singh as the cashier of the Committee. The meeting among others was attended by president of the Committee Vijay Sharma, its vice president Uttam Singh, R K Sharma general secretary, Bhadur Singh Manhas, Raghunandan and Bansi Lal Labroo.
