DODA, Mar 9: Issuing two separate orders, District Development Commissioner (DDC) Doda today ordered suspension of Secretary Panchayat in Block Kahra, Abdul Majeed and termination of services of GRS Panchayat Tantna, Block Gundna, Ghulam Mohammad.
“In pursuance to the report submitted by Assistant Commissioner Development (ACD) Doda, Abdul Majeed, the then Secretary Panchayat Tantna, Block Gundna (at present working as Secretary Panchayat in Block Kahra) is hereby placed under suspension with immediate effect and shall remain attached in the office of Assistant Commissioner Development Doda till further orders,” reads an order issued by DDC Doda Vishesh Mahajan.
Another order issued by DDC Doda reads, “In pursuance to the report submitted by Assistant Commissioner Development Doda, the services of Ghulam Mohd, son of Mohammad Anwar, resident of Tantna, working as Gram Rozgar Sahayak (GRS), Panchayat Tantna, Block Gundna, is hereby terminated/disengaged with immediate effect for commission of offences punishable under various sections of law.”
“BDO concerned will immediately take over the entire official record lying in possession of GRS Panchayat Tantna and submit compliance report accordingly,” the order further mentions.
