JAMMU, Apr 1: Film maker, Ashok Pandit called on Shiv Sena Balasahib Thakeray national president Uddhav Thackeray and Aditya Thackeray in Mumbai today and assured them full support on behalf of Kashmiri Pandita in Maharastha.
In a statement issued here today Pandit said that he informed the Sena chief that late Balasahib Thackeray has done lot for Kashmiri Pandits in exile and he has earned a lot of respect among the community who still hold him in high esteem. “Balasahib means a lot for Kashmiri Pandits as he stood with the community solidly after their displacement and gave a feeling that entire nation was behind them in this hour of tragedy. He providing moral and other support to the community in exile”, he added.
Pandit informed the Sena leaders that Hindu Smarat Balasahib Thakeray stood with the community when no body did and took personnel interest in providing admission to its children in professional and other colleges so that their career is not ruined and the community youth could stand on their own legs to earn their livelihood in a respectful way.
His this gesture was a great challenge to the forces who threw the community out of the motherland, Kashmir as Balasahib proved a messiah for them and frustrated the designs of those who were hell bent to perish this peace loving and nationalist community.
Pandit said Balasahib not only arranged admission to displaced KP youth in technical and professional colleges but also saved them from falling a prey to bad company or adopting any wrong way of earning their livelihood. Pandit saluted this great son of Maharasthra and India and assured full support of the community to Sena in Maharasthtra.
