JAMMU, Nov 17: BJP candidate from Bijbehara Constituency Pushkar Nath Pandita organized corner meetings in migrant bastis at Gole Gujral, Roop Nagar, Bantalab, Govind Nagar and other areas to garner the support of migrant voters.
Addressing these meetings Mr Pandita asked people to vote for BJP and strengthen the hands of Narendera Modi who is the only leader to bring J&K our of present mess and ensure the dignified and honorable rehabilitation of exiled people from Valley.
Mr Pandita while making a dig at PDP for shedding crocodile tears on migrants plight said that its leaders who are visiting the migrant areas to seek community vote have failed to redress the problems of displaced people during three year long rule of Mufti Mohammed Sayeed. He said the role of PDP in land row agitation was also shocking as the same led to a lot of unrest in the trouble–torn State.
He also criticized the NC and accused it of adopting discriminative policies towards the community. The coalition government failed to restore the land of Pandits and their religious places encroached in Valley. Besides it played a total negative role on temples and shrines Bill, he added.
Later at a function at Subash Nagar the Election office of BJP candidate was inaugurated at Subash Nagar by T N Bhat BJP J&K Kashmir Unit. Addressing the gathering both Pandita and Bhat took the Government to task for not implementing the employment package in the State, They also appealed the Bijbehara voters to fill up the M Forms and approach the helpline at election office at Subash Nagar.
