JAMMU, Feb 20: The Government today constituted a panel that will inquire into the financial irregularities in Kupwara and Kulgam districts under the Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchai Yojana (PMKSY)-Watershed Development Component (WDC) 2.0.
As per an order, the committee comprising Reyaz Ahmad Shah, Director Finance, Department of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, Ashok Thukan, Financial Advisor/Chief Accounts Officer, Integrated Watershed Management Programme, Mohammad Farooq, Deputy Secretary to the Government, Department of Rural Development and Panchayti Raj, and Dr Bashir Ahmed Bhat, Technical Officer, PMAY-G, shall submit its report along with specific recommendations to the Government within 15 days positively.
