JAMMU, Mar 14: Government today constituted two divisional panels for Kashmir and Jammu divisions to scrutinize the service records of all Community Health Officers (CHOs) working in Jammu and Kashmir.
The Kashmir panel comprises three officers of Health & Medical Education Department (H&ME) including, Shakoor Ahmad, Deputy Secretary to the Government; Abdul Hamid Lone, Head Assistant, and Ishfaq Abdullah, Senior Assistant while Jammu panel has three officers including, Pamposh Ganju, Under Secretary to the Government; Naresh Kumar, Section Officer, and Sudesh Kumar, Head Assistant.
They shall call all the CHOs of their respective Divisions, (Block wise/ District wise) and shall scrutinize all the documents viz initial appointment order, promotion orders etc in each case.
“The teams shall find out such cases where the appointment or promotion has been made out of norms/rules,” read an order issued by the H&ME Department.
The order said that the teams shall also look performance given by each CHOs, and will also check EPM in respect of each case.
“The teams shall also check posting of these CHOs and shall suggest the change/transfer wherever felt necessary by them,” the order read.
“The teams shall be free to look into any other thing and submit a report to the competent authority after completing the securitization process,” the order further read.
