SRINAGAR: Panic gripped the Muran Chowk in south Kashmir district of Pulwama, when unidentified gunmen fired some rounds this evening, official sources said.
They said people ran for safety after the unidentified gunmen fired several rounds. However, there was no report of any injury in the firing.
Large number of people were present in the chowk because of relaxation in strike from 1600 hrs till 0700 hrs tomorrow. Security forces have launched a massive search operation to nab the gunmen in the area. (AGENCIES)
