JAMMU, Mar 31: The residents of Panj-Peer area in Gole Gujral flayed Power Development Department (PDD) for plunging the area into darkness for past over two days.
The residents accused the PDD of inordinate delay in repairing the damaged transformer.
“We have been demanding replacement of damaged transformer in the locality to overcome the crisis”, a resident of the area said.
Academic as well as competitive exams of the students are going on. But ironically, the PDD authorities are using dilly-dallying tactics to install the transformer”, he alleged.
They added that inaction of the PDD will force them to come on roads and hold protest.
