Panthers’ delegation submits memorandum to SDM

BILLAWAR, May 27: A delegation of Young Panthers (JKNPP) of Billawar constituency headed by State secretary, Manoj Kumar Gupta, today presented a memorandum to SDM Billawar today demanding road connectivity and drinking water facility for Ward No 10 of village Ramkote of district Kathua.
Others who accompanied Manoj Kumar were Mukham Din, Feroz Din, Darshan Kumar, Kartar Singh, Major Singh, Jarnail Singh, Kasham Din, Noor Alam, Yousuf Khan, Subash Kumar, Romesh Sharma O P Sharma, Kalu Ram, Anchal Singh, Chain Singh, Liaqat Ali, Sohan Singh, Shailo Ram etc.
They told SDM that there is road connectivity in the ward, due to which they have to go miles together to reach road ahead.
As there is no water supply system established in the area, people of the ward have to depend on natural water resources which oftenly emain dry during the summer season and people have to fetch water from long distance with much difficulty.
SDM assured the delegation that he will visit the area on the coming June 8 to assess the problems faced by the people.
