Panthers Party demands CBI probe into missing man’s case

UDHAMPUR, June 23: Maintaining complete social distancing, Panthers Party activists staged a protest demonstration at Slathia Chowk here today demanding CBI probe into the case of missing person, Shiv Raj of Chenani (Pattangarh).
Leading the protest Panthers Party president, Balwant Singh Mankotia quoted locals to say that Shiv Raj Sharma was manhandled by some outside migrants while he was grazing his cattle at Seoj Dhar on June 2 after which he did not reached home till date.

“Apart from this local have also been sitting on a dharna since the last few days but there is no breakthrough about the missing man even after 20 days,” Mankotia claimed.
He informed that Panthers Party Chairman, Harsh Dev Singh has also staged many protests at Jammu in this regard but no fruitful result has yet emerged.
Mankotia alleged that such incidents happened many times in the past too but till date nothing has been done to stop it.
He urged the Lt Governor for intervention and handing over the case to CBI.
Panthers Party Secretary, Dhani Ram Atri; Councillors, Sunil Proach, Samnik Bhasin besides Youth Leader Aashish Atri, Sushil Kumar, Krishan Singh were also present in the protest.
