JAMMU, Dec 29: Panun Kashmir organized an online webinar to observe Homeland Day.
It was on 28 December 1991 Panun Kashmir endorsed and adopted Margdarshan Resolution which envisages the creation of a separate Union Territory to the North and East of river Vistasta/Jhelum under free flow of Indian Constitution.
Panun Kashmir under leadership of Dr Agnishekhar, Convenor and Dr Ajay Chrungoo, Chairman while addressing thousands of online audience reaffirmed the resolve endorsed in Margdarshan Resolution stating that the creation of Panun Kashmir inside valley is the only mechanism for permanent rehabilitation of genocide affected community. They added that the relevance and scope of Panun Kashmir is the imperative necessity more for existence and survival of India as a state and nation than for the exiled Hindu community of Kashmir.
They added that Modi Government must take note of perpetual State of Exile of Kashmiri Hindus and create mechanism to address Genocide inflicted on the community by establishing Panun Kashmir.
The online webinar was moderated by Tito Ganju, who compared Margdarshan Resolution with the most modern mechanism of addressing Genocide world over. He expressed Margdarshan Resolution as a document which encompasses the three cardinal political ideologies- The left, The right and The centrist prevalent in contemporary world order.
Panun Kashmir also felicitated distinguished members of the Kashmiri Pandit community. Captain SK Tickoo with lifetime achievement award for his glorious service rendered in political and anti insurgency operations in valley, Ajay Raina for his distinguished social service, Sanjay Pandita for his contribution in promoting Sharda Script, Rajesh Dhar for sports and Sunil Raina Rajanak for his exemplary service in promoting Kashmir Shaivism. The felicitation ceremony was organised in Mata Badarkali Temple complex in Phalian Mandal Tawi and shared on the webinar day with global audience.
