KATHUA, June 22: A factory worker was killed after his hand was stuck in a roller of Palli Paper Mill here today while he was working in the mill.
The worker was shifted to District Hospital Kathua where from doctors referred him to GMC Jammu but instead of taking him to GMC the management of the Mill shifted him to a Hospital in Pathankote where he succumbed to his injuries.
The deceased has been identified as Surinder Singh. The Kathua Police ahs registered a case under Section 174 but the same was objected by factory workers and they said the case should be registered under 304 RPC. Ram Paul president Workers Union Kathua said that this is a grave injustice with the working class and police is in league with the management.
