REASI, Feb 24: A Para-glider sustained burn injuries after he got entangled in live electric wires in Dhanwa area of Pouni in Reasi district, here today.
However, timely action by the Police and locals rescued the person and shifted him to hospital for treatment.
The Para-glider, namely Munish Kumar, son of Kamal Kumar, resident of Chamba in Himachal Pradesh was gliding in Dhanwa area of Pouni when he stuck into the live electric wires. The passersby, locals and Police immediately came into action and rescued after an hour-long hectic efforts.
The victim was shifted to District Hospital Reasi for treatment as he had sustained burn injuries. Later on he was referred to GMC Hospital Jammu for advanced treatment.
