SAMBA, Nov 25: : Appreciating Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visionary approach towards making India emerge as world leader, former MLA, Chander Prakash Ganga today said that “our nation is privileged to have such a farsighted and futurist PM who is serving his motherland like a saint”.
Ganga, while addressing series of public gatherings at Smailpur village, Teli Basti, Lower Birpur and Rajpur Koular village of block Baribrahmana, highlighted several innovative schemes and initiatives being launched by the Modi Government with equal focus on restructuring of the existing measures for promoting the interests of poor and under privileged segments of the society. “The weak Indian economy inherited by the previous regimes got focused attention of Modi Government and the nation’s financial system recorded tremendous boost”, he added.
Ganga elaborated in detail schemes like Ujjwalla, Beti Bachao Beti Padao, Swachh Bharat Mission, Soubhagya, Stand up and start up, Mudra Yojana, Fasal Bima Yojana, various insurance policies, Khelo India school games, Bamboo mission, DDU-GKY, Soil Health Card Scheme, Atal Pension Yojana etc. He said that Pradhan Mantri Ujwala Yojna has been one of the most appreciated schemes and the way Central Government involved the normal people by asking them to give up their subsidies to help the rural women with access to clean energy, has been widely hailed. Also, schemes like Krishi Sinchai Yojna, Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojna, and Sukanya Samridhi Yojna have been directly focused for the rural population to increase their standard of life, he added.
He said that the recently launched Ayushmaan Bharat is a scheme envisaging providing healthcare facilities to the poor and exhorted upon the people to optimally utilize such programmes which are meant for their benefit only.
“Modi is working with a committed vision and motive of extending the benefits of all welfare and development programmes to last man in the last queue”, asserted the senior BJP leader while appreciating the people’s whole hearted support in this regard. Bringing back the shattered system on track, besides weeding out corruption was although a stupendous task before Modi Government but his firm determination and visionary approach has proved that “Governments can also be run without corruption”, he added.
Spelling out several Government initiatives, the MLA said that the present dispensation has ensured that there is no shortage of basic services like food grains, LPG, seeds and fertilizers and the people themselves are witness to these initiatives.
