SRINAGAR, Nov 24: To highlight their issues, a delegation of Paramedic employees called on the President of the Jammu and Kashmir National Conference, Dr. Farooq Abdullah, here today.
The delegation comprising members from GMC Anantnag and its affiliated hospitals, sought the establishment of a job policy and the regularization of their services within a specific timeframe.
While speaking to a delegation, Dr Farooq Abdullah reassured them that their legitimate concerns would be promptly addressed by the relevant ministry.
He said that the Government led by Omar Abdullah is dedicated to rectifying the losses incurred in the health sector over the past 10 years.
“The government is committed to addressing the setbacks experienced in the health sector over the last decade,” he said and added that the improvement and expansion of infrastructure in primary, secondary and tertiary healthcare facilities are the foundation of the NC’s manifesto, which will be executed diligently and effectively.
