JAMMU, Sept 14: A meeting of Paravets Association of Animal Husbandry Department was held under the leadership of Sukhdev Singh (general secretary) and Suresh Gupta (president), today.
The leaders of the Paravets Association requested the Director Animal Husbandry, Jammu and secretary to Government Animal Husbandry to fulfill their demands without delay.
The demands included regularization of 1st Aid centres and sanction of Assistant Venterinary Officers post in each centre in the interest of old aged Paravets, confirmation of DPC and promotions of all cadres, moxed vaccine for HS and BQ diseases and exemption of Paravets from election duty.
Other who attended the meeting were Dr Kirpal Singh, Dr Rajiv Lehara, Dr Ravi Salaria, Rameshwar Khajuria, Gurdyal, Karan Singh Sambyal, Shankaar Singh etc.
