AKHNOOR, Feb 24: Labourer Sunni Singh, a resident of Gurha Manhasan, the last village of Pargwal on the Indo-Pak border, is also among the 8 labourers trapped in the tunnel in Telangana state, whose family members are in severe shock and crying for government help as he has been trapped in the tunnel for the last three days.
The hapless and shocked family members have appealed to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi to take immediate action to rescue the labourers trapped in the tunnel so that Sunny can reach home safely.
It is worth noting that eight (8) people are trapped inside for the last three days due to collapse of a part of the tunnel under construction under the CLBC project in Nagarkurnool district of Telangana state. Efforts are on to rescue them. Army, NDRF, SDRF and other agencies are continuously carrying out rescue operations, but no success has been achieved so far.
At the same time, Sunny Singh of village Gurha Manhasan is also trapped in the tunnel, due to which the family members and people of the area are worried about Sunny.
Sunny Singh’s father, Ram Singh told that Sunny was posted in Kishtwar as a machine operator in the company for the last five years. About two months ago, the company sent him to work in the tunnel in Telangana state, but it was known only on the second day that he was trapped in the tunnel. He told that the company is not giving correct information. In such a situation, Prime Minister Narendra Modi should take action as soon as possible to safely evacuate all the workers trapped in the tunnel, Ram Singh pleaded.
