Colombo, Oct 17 The Paris Club bas assured its fullest support for Sri Lanka’s ongoing
efforts to find an early resolution to its debt crisis, State Minister of Finance Shehan Semasinghe
said in remarks published on Monday.
“Met with William Roos, Co-Chairman of the Paris Club, during the IMF/World Bank annual
meetings. Roos assured the Paris Club’s fullest support for Sri Lanka’s efforts to find an early
resolution to its debt crisis,” the Daily Mirror quoted the Minister as saying.
Sri Lanka is battling its worst economic crisis since independence in 1948.
