JAMMU, Feb 23: Guru Ravi Dass Sabha Khour celebrated 646th Prakash Utsav of Shri Guru Ravi Das Ji Maharaj in the premises of Guru Ravi Dass Ji temple at Khour town today.
Murti Sthapna ceremony was also performed by Shri Shri 108 Swami Gurdip Giri Ji in the premises. Murti of Guru Ravi Dass Ji was established at the temple in presence of Swami Gurdip Giri Ji who also delivered spiritual sermons on this occasion.
He asked the devotees to follow the path shown by Shri Guru Ravi Das Ji. He said that ‘Amritvani’ of Shri Guru Ravi Dass Ji touches every aspect of life. Great Guru has laid stress on attaining education and eradication of social evils more than 600 years ago. Renowned singer Milkhi Ram sang devotional songs on the occasion.
Function was organised under the presidentship of Madan Lal Shankar Chand senior vice president of Sabha presented income and expenditure statement. Full detail was presented before the Sangat. He also extended vote of thanks to all those persons who made this function successful. He thanked the Sangat who donated liberally for development of Mandir complex.
Ravi Kumar general secretary of the Sabha managed the stage efficiently. Sabha honoured Sham Lal Basson, Pathi Bua Ditta, Des Raj Sangral, Pt Ashok Kumar, Master Raj Kumar, Master Vijay Kumar , Janak Raj, Sub Sham Lal, Banarsi Dass, Jagir Ji and Sat Paul.
Aradhya Basson, Sumaira Basson and Suneha delivered speeches on the life and mission of Shri Guru Ravi Dass Ji Maharaj and were honoured on this occasion. Sabha also honoured Langer team comprising Babu Ram, Rattan Lal, Ganesh Kumar, Sanjeev Kumar, Madan Lal, Rakesh Kumar, Krishan Lal and others.
