JAMMU, May 22: In connection with the celebration of 646th Parkash Utsav of Shri Guru Ravi Dass Ji Maharaj and 132nd birth anniversary of Dr. B.R Ambedkar a grand function was organized by Shri Guru Ravi Dass Sabha Sukka Graint, Jammu in which Shri Shri 108 Swami Gurdeep Giri Ji Maharaj delivered his sermons.
Rakesh Wazir, president Hotel & Restaurant Association, Katra and senior Congress leader was among prominent persons present on the occasion and he threw light on the life and teachings of Guru Ravi Dass Ji Maharaj and works done by Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar for the welfare of people especially for the upliftment of downtrodden and weaker sections of the society.
He thanked Parvez Dewan, the then Advisor to Governor and Rohit Kansal, the then Commissioner Secretary PWD for making it possible to have a direct link between Katra-Akhnoor via Deva Mai-Sukka Graint Agore.
Gurdeep Giri Ji Maharaj also spoke on the occasion.
Prominent among others who were present on the occasion were Guru Ravi Dass Sabha Sukha Grand president Babu Ram, Rattan Lal, Chairman, Sarban Dass and others.
