JAMMU, May 3: Dogra Brahman Pratinidhi Sabha (DBPS) is busy in preparations for celebrating Bhagwan Parshuram Jayanti with grandeur and zeal and programmes for this are starting from May 5 to culminate on May 10.
In a press conference here today DBPS president, Ved Parkash Sharma informed that a medical camp will be organized on May 5 at 10 am in which Dr. Sushil Sharma, HoD Cardiology at Super Specialty Jammu will provide his services.
“Registrations for the medical camp are open at Brahman Sabha Parade,” he maintained.
The Sabha president also said that a Rath Yatra and a bike-car rally is scheduled for May 10 at 10:30 am from Brahman Sabha Parade which will move through Moti Bazar, Pacca Danga, Chowk Chabutra to culminate at Chanakya Chowk Parade.
He invited all the people from different religious organizations to participate in the rally and also informed that a religious function will be held as part of Parshuram Jayanti on May 10 at 8 am.
“A Bhandara will also be organized on 2 pm on May 10th,” the Sabha president continued.
