JAMMU, Aug 31: All parties delegation comprising of Displaced Kashmiri Pandits, social and political organizations headed by A K Sidha, president PDP Minority Cell called on Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner, M L Raina here today to discuss some burning issues of displaced Pandits with him.
They demanded that the present Government should adopt a permanent policy in a manner under which the issues need to be sorted out for which correct initiative are being to be taken in hand because exiled community has profound faith on the working of the Department to mitigate the sufferings of displaced people.
The delegation informed the Relief Commissioner that the relief holders are always being harassed to deposit one or the other information after a gap of every six months which makes the matter complicated and tiresome.
They said at present the relief holders have to fulfill a form giving Aadhr Card number, account number , mobile number etc which were submitted by the relief holders last year. As per the order the form is to be attested by bank authority and last date for its submission expired today.
The Relief Commissioner gave instructions to make order simple and assured that the issue will be looked into.
The delegation was also accompanied by senior KP leader Ashok Kangan, Sunil Bhat of PDP, M K Yogi president N C Minority Cell, Anil Dhar senior leader NC and others.
