BJP North holds meet

Jammu, Apr 10: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) district Jammu North today organized a grand active membership workers’ meet at the Jammu North Assembly constituency. The event was held under the chairmanship of district president, Nand Kishore Sharma and witnessed the presence of Seh Prabhari Jammu North district and MLA Jammu North Sham Lal Sharma.
The event was marked by the enthusiastic participation of senior leaders, Mandal office bearers, former public representatives, and a large number of committed Karyakartas from across the district.
Prominent among those present were district co-incharge, Vinay Gupta, senior leaders, Karan Singh and Pradyuman Singh, Mandal president Rohit Verma, Pankaj Padha, Sahil Gupta, and Ravish Mengi. Former councillors, former Sarpanches, and active BJP workers also participated in large numbers, reflecting the strong organizational foundation of the party in Jammu North.
During the event, detailed discussions were held on the party’s upcoming key initiatives including Samrasta Diwas-to promote social harmony, Gaon Chalo Abhiyan-to strengthen rural outreach, and Bharat Ratna, Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Jayanti-to honour the legacy of the principal architect of the Indian Constitution.
Leaders stressed the importance of these programmes in furthering the party’s vision of inclusivity, empowerment, and public connect.
Nand Kishore Sharma, district president BJP, in his address, emphasized the pivotal role of booth-level workers in shaping the party’s success. He called for strengthening the grassroots structure and fostering a people-centric approach in all organizational activities.
In his keynote address, Sham Lal Sharma applauded the unwavering dedication of BJP’s ground-level workers and highlighted that the strength of the party lies in its disciplined and ideologically committed cadre. He encouraged the karyakartas to reach out to every household and spread awareness about the various pro-people schemes launched by the Modi Government. He stated that the upcoming programmes should be celebrated not just as party functions, but as mass movements that involve people from all sections of society. Sharma also stressed the importance of unity, discipline, and grassroots activism as the core strengths that differentiate BJP from other political organizations.
The workers pledged to work with greater dedication and unity in the times ahead, ensuring the success of all upcoming BJP initiatives in the region.
