JAMMU, May 22: Nagrota police under Operation Sanjeevani arrested a passenger along with 5.400 kilograms charas, a police official said.
The accused was arrested during checking of a passenger vehicle at TCP Nagrota. The arrested drug peddler is a native of district Anantnag.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Nagrota police station and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Nagrota Inspector Bhushan Manhas made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Nagrota Dr Amit Sharma and SP Rural Arun Gupta.
